We are currently facing a serious legal issue concerning the Rhiw Goch Inn, our historic property and business in Snowdonia National Park. My ex-partner, with the assistance of Winrow Solicitors, has wrongfully filed a claim under legal aid funds—originally meant for a child custody case—to claim ownership of the land and business here at the Rhiw Goch Inn. This misuse of legal aid funds has led to significant disruptions, delaying essential redevelopment works and causing financial harm to the business. I cant mention the negliance within the Child Custody case but this matter is one I will represent as its going to be a large claim against the parties and want to see if anything like this has happend to anyone else.
Impact on Our Business and Property
- Delayed Construction & Business Revival: Due to these legal challenges, crucial building work has been put on hold, affecting our ability to restore and reopen the Rhiw Goch Inn.
- Financial & Legal Burdens: We estimate the damages and lost revenue from these disruptions to be in the hundreds of thousands of pounds.
- Misrepresentation in Legal Filings: In their claim, the solicitors falsely declared that I was married to my ex-partner, which is entirely untrue.
- Neglect & Property Access Issues: My ex-partner was granted a council house under the pretense of being homeless while simultaneously blocking access to the property and unlawfully removing keys to three properties halting development 2024.
- Threat to Planning Permissions: The forced delays in rebuilding could impact planning permission deadlines, further jeopardizing the future of the site.
Seeking Legal Action & Community Support
We are in the process of serious legal advice to hold Winrow Solicitors accountable for the financial and legal damage caused. This includes seeking compensation for lost revenue, damages due to delays, and potential legal malpractice claims.

I appreciate the awareness and If you do have a partner or case going through child custody then they will be in court again with issues of fact and filing for a Contempt of Court against this firm also. Using tax payers money to lie and deciet of judges needs to end.
