Greetings from the family;
Peter and family are moving from Suffolk, England to the Rhiw Goch Inn. We’ve spent a lot of time in Wales, the Peak District and the Lake District – we just kept coming back to central Wales, staying out of the usual honey pot attractions, heading for more tranquil parts. We like mountain biking, walks and exploring the quiet areas.
Rhiw Goch is just the best location to get straight into the tracks at Coed Y Brenin. At the time of taking on this challenging project our children are 11 years, 9 years, 18 months and 7 months

We as a family had always dreamt of living in Wales, all our holidays we used to camp, rent apartments and stay in lodges or hotels. We do a lot of mountain biking and lead active lives. Living our dreams has led us to purchasing and starting to develop the whole site
Rhiw Goch Inn, Holiday & Wedding Venue
The Rhiw Goch Inn will be coming back. There’s a lot to do before we can even start work, confirming all the details, ticking off the heritage checklist checking the state of the building , its lime rendering, tasks and protective list. We’re truly keen and eager to get this amazing building up and working. We as a family are keen to integrate with the local community. We want to get an income to live and develop the business, and for it to again be a part of the local community with social events and days for kids days or parent and toddlers or on occasions we can have events for people to attend.

The front grass area will be the perfect place to sit and watch the sunsets, relax within the day and clear the day and thoughts.
One Bedroom Gate House
This one-bedroom gatehouse is perfect for the exciting holiday breaks in Wales.
It is a little smaller than some venues but we need to work within the 18C building we have.
The venue has stepped up and into the gatehouse, a cosy kitchen and a seating area with a toilet and shower room. The bedroom is then floating over the route used by kings and royalty like John Roberts and King James along with lords allowing access into the main building.
Two Bedroom Lodge
The two bedroom lodge house is next to the gate house. Its built into the slope of the hill so we decided to renovate the first floor into a lovely and relaxing space to unwind and relax with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. Downstairs has two bedrooms and bathroom area. It has open beams and joists and looks amazing. The window from the lounge is within keeping of the building but gives amazing views of the Rhinog mountain range and sunsets.
Helicopter Pad
,We allow access into Snowdonia national park via helicopter, if it for a nice weekend, wedding day, day trip or just to touch down to enjoy a rest. If space is needed with have space within 17acres and could allow more space to be used or opened if required.
Moving forward this will be a great way for us to expand into new ventures and allow easy access to the mountain. Contact us to see if you can land.
Viewing Area
The viewing area is a grass area outside the front of the old Rhiw Goch Inn, we have put seating outside and will be allowing people in the future to book or come and watch the most amazing sunsets in the valley. The sunsets are not from a close high mountain, you have a full valley to look over and several peaks and can see the sun all through the day.
Wedding Venue
We have an amazing view, perfect parking and hard standing area of around 30m long and 15m wide, perfect for a marquee to be installed and you can dance the night away, watching the sunsets and mountains Perfect road access from the main road it’s just minutes up the lane and not a long drive down single track roads. A secluded area means you get a lot of privacy and private space.
